Moving lines

Sportsbooks move their lines all the time, whether it's because of injury news, weather, or sharp bettors hammering one side.

The problem is that not every sportsbook moves at the same time. When one book moves a line and another hasn't caught up yet, the slower book is often offering a better number than it should be.

Our Moving Lines tool tracks recent significant line changes across all major sportsbooks so you can spot those moves as they happen.

Moving lines tool on mobile

1) Line change

Each row shows a single line move. The Line Change column shows the market (spread, total, or moneyline) and how the line moved, from the previous line to the current one.

For example, a total that moved from O47.5 to O49.5 tells you the sportsbook has shifted toward the over by two points.

2) Bets

The Bets column shows the sportsbook that moved and the bet itself, with a button to go straight to the bet.

A big move at one sportsbook is a good reason to check the odds screen and see whether other books are still offering the old number.

3) Filters

Same filters as the other tools: League, Market, Period, and Sportsbooks.

4) Automatic reload

Keeping this toggled on (which is the default) will update the screen as soon as we detect new line movement.

Note: Free accounts see moving lines on select markets, and you can see a preview of the first 3 without an account. Sports Pro unlocks every moving line. See Free vs. paid plans.
